The Japanese Yellowtail (Buri)

The Japanese Yellowtail (Buri) is cultured on specific "Fish-farms" in Japan. Our Buri is from a region in the south of Japan.

With its long coastlines, many inlets and excellent circulation with an annual mean water temperature of 19 degrees Celsius, the location provides an ideal environment for fish culture.

Buri is exceptionally nutritious and rich in essential nutrients for maintaining good health. It is rich in EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). EPA helps to reduce cholesterol and prevent many lifestyle related diseases, DHA enhances learning capacity.

Buri adds a wonderful touch to Japanese, Western, Italian, Chinese and other styles of dishes.
